Kindness: Cards
Kindness is contagious. Spread the kindness. In this day and age, I have noticed that the current pandemic has brought out the evil in some people and the greatness / kindness in others. Despite the “evil” side of people manifesting itself, I still firmly believe Americans in general are a kind people. We are an innovative people looking for new ways to spread kindness. For instance, there are the kindness rocks – a crafty and fun way to spread some encouragement and kindness. However, I would like to spend this blog post talking about another way to spread the kindness. It’s about a company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah right in the United States called SendOutCards. I am a referral partner for SendOutCards, which means I receive commission based on referrals and does NOT effect your cost in anyway – I would be your go to person for support and questions!
This way to spread kindness is where an older, more traditional form of communication meets the ease of modern technology… Who doesn’t like to receive personal mail from friends and family? I know I love to!! I especially love to hear from people I haven’t heard from in quite a long time. I also love to send people mail and really surprising people who haven’t heard from me in a while. SendOutCards has been around since 2003, so as of today for over 17 years! You can also download the app and send personalized cards straight from your phone. It is a terrific and easy/convenient way to send cards and even gifts from your phone or laptop. In addition, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, this is in my opinion a great way to stay safe by not having to go to crowded stores for something so simple.
As a customer and referral partner for SendOutCards, I see the value in this service – you can send cards to friends and family, using your own photos and even uploading your handwriting so that you can really personalize your cards. Use it for holidays to send cards to several people. Also use it as a “Save the Date” for weddings, anniversary parties, graduation parties, baby showers, etc. I remember once I sent a birthday card to a friend I barely saw any more and it arrived right on his birthday. He called to let me know he was ecstatic to receive the card! I also like to occasionally send “thinking of you” cards to people just for the heck of it.
As I have stated, Americans tend to be innovative. Many of us have started our own businesses in some form or other – working for just ourselves or starting up a business hiring multiple people. I, for one, am working becoming a work from home travel agent (!!!) and once I am fully trained and start booking travel for others, I plan to use my SendOutCards account to thank my clients for booking through me. If I am looking for someone to provide a service to me, I generally look for recommendations from others. Once I choose someone, it’s their customer service that sticks out to me in providing their service before, during and after that will stick in my mind in deciding whether to continue doing business with that person in the future. And if their customer service sticks out in my mind, I am likely to recommend them to others.
So, as you can see there are many uses for SendOutCards service and it’s something I would suggest using if even just for once in a while.
